Annie + Tyler

i still can't believe Tyler is married - i've known him since he was just a goof of a little boy in soccer cleats!

our moms met when i was a baby and became fast friends.  incredibly, they have stayed the best of friends for more than thirty years, despite job transfers that caused them to never again live in the same city.

Tyler grew up with his family in ohio.  i followed the love of my life to a state i'd never been in and found myself in college, also in ohio.  i spent holidays at Tyler's house eating home-cooked food, playing (and arguing over) board games, and gratefully soaking up time with a family while i was so far from my own.

when Tyler asked me to photograph his wedding, i was thrilled.  i hadn't met Annie, but i was pretty sure i would like her when Tyler wrote in a note to me "I can't wait for you to meet my Annie."  don't you love that?

the wedding was a blast!  Tyler grinned from ear to ear all day long.  Annie was every bit the picture of a glowing bride.  the wedding party was laid back and had fun waving on traffic as we took photos under the bridge - thanks to my friend Leigh (who i met in the OSU photo department!) for the location suggestion.  i was giddy to be photographing it all.  lucky for me, my family was invited to this wedding.  i introduced my kids to cleveland, made a stop in columbus to reminisce, and we all got to congratulate the bride and groom on their beautiful wedding day.

much love to Tyler and his Annie.
