baby madeline

 i have a tiny new cousin.

i was lucky enough to meet baby madeline about 12 hours after she entered this world.  i grabbed a few quick photos of her in the hospital for her mom and dad.  babies change so fast!  you really have to be sure to get great photos right away - they will never look the same again.

also - i have a thing for photos of babies in hospital blankets and hats.  those little pink and blue stripes are iconic.  and as madeline's grandmother said, they never change.  they probably swaddled madeline's parents and grandparents as their nervous moms and dads prepared to take them home years ago.
